Patient visits have grown tremendously, particularly in the sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation programs. Many innovative programs have been spearheaded by Robert S. Gotlin. D.O., coordinator of the Fellowship Training Program. In close collaboration with colleagues, interdisciplinary projects and research have been and continue to be carried out.

Commencing August 1st and terminating July 31st of the next academic year, approximately 70% of your time will be spent in clinical activities including: outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitation diagnosis and treatment, inpatient joint and ligament evaluations, theory and application of peripheral and spinal injections, functional outcome testing, pre-season sports physical examinations, and electrodiagnostic testing. Osteopathic Principles and Practices will be taught and manipulative therapies utilized. In addition, time will be spent in clinical and academic teaching, research and program development.

Four weeks vacation and five days for CME are allowed upon approval by the fellowship coordinator. On call schedule is possible for in-patient coverage. Salary is at the PGY 5 level, which includes fringe benefits. This is a non-CME approved program.
